Programs and Leadership:
- State of Minnesota PELSB-approved Cultural Competency Training (CCT) for licensure and/or re-licensure for teachers, schools, and districts
- Program design created with fidelity to design principles using practice-based research as well as research-based practices and evaluation of efficacy for meeting stated targets for maximizing human capital and financial resource investments by investor and/or organization
- Leadership development and input from leaders of underserved and/or underrepresented communities based on race, gender, class, sexual orientation, creed, religion, language, nationality, and/or ethnicity
- Inter and intra-culturally responsive and relevant communication, community engagement, and feedback on small-to-medium-to-large scale project design structures, content, and processes (inputs, processes, outcomes)
- Small business start-up and development
Policy and Equity:
- Public Policy review, analysis, and recommendations based on findings rooted in practice-based and research-based data collection methods
- Practice-based and research-based design models for preventing and intervening with “messy” organizational and leadership-based problems in public and private enterprise and/or industry
- Cultural proficiency, responsiveness to community needs, and capacity, will, skill, and knowledge to deliver racially equitable outcomes that meet and/or or exceed project targets/goals
College and Career, Charter Schools, and Alternative Education:
- Charter school application process development and programmatic design models. Alternative and traditional educational systems-based development of schools, programs, and services
- College and Career Readiness system building, workforce development, and engagement with industry, non-profit, and for profit leaders and organizations
- Inter, intra, cross-cultural, and racial communication protocols nested within technical fields of work, like engineering
Practice Based Evidence and Evidenced Based Practices:
- Effectively utilizing diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and political resources embedded in communities of color, native/indigenous/American Indian communities, and faith-based communities with research principles relating specifically to civil engineering
- Embedding racial and gender equity in the management of human and capital resource allocation and appropriation of public and/or private funds within a given project design process and structure to strengthen and connect communities from their perspectives and then from an educational and engineering perspective/lens
- Creating increased program efficiency and productivity through the use of economies of scale and other practice-based and research-based design principles for scaling projects based on the uncovering and/or development of naturally sustainable patterns within scalable socioeconomic models such as program, engagement, and/or learning based models of scalability
